SRP Certificate

When a downloaded SRP Certificate is saved to the computer you can open it up and go to Tools Fill & Sign to type the name and location of the branch then print for the customer.

Use the Demo Account to Practice with the software after the training session.

Begin by creating an account. Make sure the first name begins with HPL_ 

 Youth Services will delete the test accounts later on. 

        

  Example: HPL_Richard

Then test the following functions:
1.      Logging books/minutes (babies and toddlers default to Books everyone else defaults to Minutes)                
2.      Switching Account Creators (the Creator is the adult or main account that the rest of the family is logged under)
3.      Attending programs (enter special codes) Animal program (code is ATOZEBRA)
4.       Award prizes to your test accounts

Update My Link Account

Customers can use the Update My Link Account form if they wish to change their email, phone, address, name or renew their card.  This will save everyone a lot of time including staff!
 Update my Link Account
 Circulation Administration checks and updates the account and contacts the customer if this is needed.

Comment pop ups are added if they update customer's address etc... Please remove the comment once you have verified it.

Barcode Generator

In order to use the self check out machines customers need to have their library card and their PIN numbers.  Tim Siegel provided me with a link to a barcode generator that the Stella Link location use to create a scannable barcode when a customer has left their card at home.  It is used best on Google Chrome where if you right click on the barcode it can be printed in a separate tab without the background wording.

Please make sure to check ID's for card numbers and PIN numbers.  Also, remember if a card is lost it is best to have them refill out a new registration application and to stress the importance of remembering their PIN numbers.
