Good Day Team,
I wanted to
take this opportunity to remind you of the following from the Financial
Services Department:
·
Fines
and booksale should be sent in two
separate envelops
·
The
reason why you have to send them in two separate envelops is because the money
goes into two separate banks
·
Each
envelop should be labelled accordingly
·
The
fines envelop should contain money from fines, bags, copies, passport
fees and library cards
·
The
booksale envelope should contain money collected from selling books
and other donated materials, flash drives and ear buds.
·
If
the fines and booksale money cannot be separated due to lack of change, you can
send everything in the same envelop with an explanation of why you had to do
so.
·
Two copies of the report should be printed and sent even if you are only sending one
envelop.
Please let me
know if you have any questions or need more information.
Take care and
have a wonderful day.
Sincerely,
Theodora.

Tax Forms
Hello-
I just received an email from the IRS that there is no
previous tax form order for Moody or Dixon on file. At this point, even if an order were placed,
tax forms would not arrive until close to or after April 15th. Thus,
I have decided not to place an order.
Thanks in advance for your assistance regarding this.
If a customer visits and requests tax forms, please explain
that there was a mix up with the order. Then, politely offer to assist the
customer with retrieving needed forms from the IRS web site. For your reference, the website is www.irs.gov.

Security Issue
Hello-
Library Administration has asked that we no longer prop doors open when we step outside of the building. This is a measure that will help to keep all staff members more safe. Please remember to comply with this new procedure so that all staff can remain safe.
Thanks,
Richard
